Dave: The Forgotten World · Last updated 9 September 2026
Dave saves your game progress — level completion, stars, coins, gems, equipment, settings — only on your own device, using the operating system's standard local storage for apps. This data:
Options → Erase DataThe optional "cloud save" feature generates a text code representing your progress and copies it to your clipboard. Nothing is uploaded anywhere — you choose where that code goes. If you paste it into another device, that device reads it locally.
Dave shows exactly one kind of ad: a rewarded video you opt into on the death screen, in exchange for a free continue. There are no banners, no interstitials and nothing that interrupts play. Every one of the 100 levels can be completed without ever watching one.
Ads are served by Google AdMob. When you choose to watch one, Google may collect and process:
That data is handled under Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from partner apps. We never receive it in a form that identifies you; we only see aggregate counts and earnings in the AdMob dashboard.

The app declares INTERNET, and on Android
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID, both used only for serving the
optional ad. Controller vibration uses the standard haptics API and needs no permission.
