Short version: the game is free, it is provided as-is, you may play it as much as you like, and you may not resell or redistribute it as your own.

1. The licence you get

Akshay Kotish & Co. grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play Dave: The Forgotten World on devices you own or control. The game is licensed, not sold.

2. What you may not do

Sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app or its assets
Reverse engineer or decompile it, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded
Remove or alter any copyright or attribution notices
Represent the game, or any part of it, as your own work

3. Your saved data

Game progress is stored only on your device. We hold no copy, which means we cannot restore it for you if the device is lost, reset, or the app is uninstalled. Use Options → Cloud Save to export a progress code if you want a backup.

4. Cost

The game is free to download and free to complete. Every one of the 100 levels can be finished without paying anything and without watching an advertisement.

5. No warranty

The game is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Akshay Kotish & Co. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the game, including loss of saved progress.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated as the game changes. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the game after a change means you accept the revised terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
